- The Mid- & Long-Term Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing medium- and long-term maintenance plans for CHO, ABJ, and LTO assets to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and alignment with operational objectives. The role ensures maintenance activities are effectively scheduled, resourced, and integrated with production and turnaround plans in compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mid- and long-term maintenance and asset integrity plans across CHO, ABJ, and LTO sites.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to define work scopes and schedules.
- Analyze equipment history, performance data, and reliability trends to optimize maintenance strategies.
- Prepare detailed maintenance forecasts, manpower requirements, and material planning.
- Integrate maintenance plans with production, shutdown, and project schedules to minimize downtime.
- Track progress of planned activities and ensure timely execution in line with performance targets.
- Ensure maintenance plans comply with HSE and quality management systems.
- Generate periodic reports on maintenance performance, cost analysis, and asset reliability.
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 5–8 years’ experience in maintenance planning or reliability engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles.
- Proficiency in planning software and CMMS tools (e.g., SAP PM, Primavera, MS Project).
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience coordinating multi-site or multi-asset maintenance operations is an advantage.
